At approximately 2 p.m. on Tuesday, May 2, troopers were called on Maryland Route 5 near Allentown Road in Prince George’s County to investigate a reported fatal crash.
The crash forced state police to shut down all three southbound lanes in the roadway, as well as both shoulders Route 5 as of 4 p.m. on Tuesday afternoon.
Details of the crash were not immediately available as state police investigated the incident.
